Christmas Thanskgiving Celebration 2008

Last week, my boss asked me if he could put me in-charge of our Christmas Celebration. At first I hesitated due to location. The venue will be in Iligan and that's 1 and half hour bus ride from my place. Second is I don't think I can lead a group to work for that important activity for the company. And third is, it's additional workload for me, additional pain in the head for that matter. Nonetheless,I did took the resposibility.

Organizing an event entails a lot of hard work. Conceptualizing on how things will flow was quite draining for me. I was able to submit the concept today and my boss gave a positive feedback. But the there are lots of things to be done to realize it. The challenge to get committed people to really do the job is ahead of me. With three weeks to prepare for it, I am confident that we can have an enjoyable and satisfying gathering. And most importantly, we can celebrate His Goodness and be ever thankful to the One Above for all the blessings...

Ordinary

I've noticed that I have not done something really challenging this day. Everything was normal. I was a bit bored. I went in and out the office to find worth doing but can't find one. I found myself just sitting or just looking around.

But I realized that I guess it's a good break for me and I just have to soak in it and enjoy the rest of the day.

Monday Sickness

While thinking of writing my first blog with my newly added bloglists, I can't find the right words to fit as my title. Although I admit that Monday is my busiest day of the week, there was never an instance that I hated this day like what I usually have heard from others.

This day seems to be an ordinary busy day for me. We always have our corporate prayer every monday to guide us through the whole week. Everything seems to be casual today except for phone calls from customers that I have to attend to personally. The day went smoothly. In fact, amidst our active day, we were able to greet our co-employee with a piece of cake which we partake at lunch time.
